Deinstallation old IT equipment * Power off old IT equipment. * Deinstall and un-mount IT equipment. * Remove existing IT cables. |

* Safely power off each IT device using its power button before commencing any deinstallation * Locate and visually check that the GPO to the device is not damaged with cracks, fraying or exposed wiring * STOP: Report any damaged GPO or exposed wiring immediately to the site representative or licensed electricians onsite * When safe to do so, Turn OFF device GPO supplying the targeted IT equipment into OFF position, then unplug the power cable from GPO * STOP (Important Note): If there is a requirement to cut any cables within any POS cavity or mounts, please seek immediate assistance from onsite licensed electrician/site supervisor. Technicians are not allowed to cut any cables under no circumstances * If there are no site supervisor or licensed electricians onsite, please contact support immediately for the correct action to take. * When safe to do so, disconnect and remove related IT device with its cables safely

Failing to comply with the Safe Work Method Statement may be considered Serious Misconduct.
Under the Fair Work Act and Fair Work Regulations, an employee may be guilty of serious misconduct for failing to carry out a lawful and reasonable instruction that is consistent with the contract of employment.
This breach can result in disciplinary action, including summary (on the spot) dismissal depending on the seriousness of the action/s.
Summary dismissal for serious misconduct takes effect immediately. It terminates the employment without the need to provide notice of termination (or payment in lieu of notice).
The Fair Work Regulation 1.07(2) defines serious misconduct as:
a) wilful or deliberate behaviour by an employee that is inconsistent with the continuation of the contract of employment; or
b) conduct that causes serious and imminent risk to:
i. the health or safety of a person; or
ii. the reputation, viability or profitability of the employer’s business.
