Trade Approved scales are marked with a National Standards Commission (NSC) or National Measurement Institute (NMI) approval number on the scale. Eg. NSC No. 6/4D/235 , NMI 6/4C/252. Scales used for trade must be of an approved type and have been Verified by an Approved Scale Verifier. When purchasing a Scale from us, it will be Verified by one of our technicians and evidence of this provided to you. A label with the Verifier’s Mark will be placed on the Scale. See the Green/Silver label in the image. It is important that this label NOT be removed.
